Chef Maria Allison Owner of Fatheads LLC.
Chef Maria Allison, owner of Fatheads LLC – Mobile Catering Services, is a graduate of Baltimore International College and received a degree in culinary arts in 2009. Previous to culinary school, she attended the Women’s Entrepreneurs of Baltimore in 2003 where she was inspired to pursue a career in the culinary arts. As a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF), she competed in several culinary competitions winning second and third place. After graduating, she served as Executive Chef at Mount Vernon Hotel in Baltimore and Chef at Zion Middle School before starting her first business, RIA’S Catering.
In addition to her culinary career, Chef Maria believes in giving back through philanthropy. As an ambassador with Zion Baptist Church and volunteer with C.U.R.E. Operation / PULSE (People United to Live in a Safe Environment), she served meals to over 200 homeless citizens for 5 years. Personally she provides meals every 3rd Saturday during Selfless Saturdays in support of the Homeless. She is also working on a non-profit.
Throughout her career, Chef Maria was featured in several articles including Baltimore Magazine and most recently, Voyage Baltimore Magazine.
